About WAD

What is West Africa Dreamin’?

West Africa Dreamin’ is West Africa’s premier community-led Salesforce conference — organised by the Tech Trailblazers Community Foundation, a nonprofit. What began in Lagos in 2024 has grown across two countries into a gathering of 500+ attendees from 14 countries, with 40+ speakers and 25+ partners. We exist to close one gap: West Africa has the ambition, the talent and the technology, but rarely puts enterprise buyers, implementation partners, professionals and emerging talent in the same room at the same time. On 21 November 2026, in Lagos, we do exactly that — for the third year running.

FAQs

Do I need a visa?

ECOWAS citizens enter visa-free for up to 90 days with a valid passport. Everyone else needs a Nigerian eVisa applied for in advance at immigration.gov.ng — visa-on-arrival was discontinued in mid-2025. Business visas typically cost $160–200 and take 5–7 business days. We can provide an invitation letter, and our team can help with the application.

Are vaccinations required?

Yes — a yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry into Nigeria, administered at least 10 days before you arrive.

Where should I stay?

We have negotiated rates with hotels and short-lets in Victoria Island, Ikoyi and Lekki, some including airport pickup.

How do I get from the airport?

You’ll land at Murtala Muhammed International (LOS) in Ikeja — allow 45 minutes to 2 hours to Victoria Island depending on traffic. Uber and Bolt both operate in Lagos.

Will sessions be recorded?

Yes — recordings are made available to all registered attendees after the event.
