Caran Bradshaw

Caran Bradshaw is the Founder and CEO of DaytaTech.ai, based in USA, where she created DaytaBrain. Before founding the company, she spent a decade in enterprise technology and data transformation across healthcare, government, and large organizations, specializing in more recent years as a Salesforce leader who architected Sales, Service, Health, and Marketing Cloud solutions and led complex data migrations and integrations for enterprise and government clients. That decade put her inside the PMO and strategy function during the exact years it was evolving from an administrative, compliance-focused role into a strategic one. For decades, PMOs were built around collecting and reporting information: status updates, retrospective dashboards, meetings that confirm what already happened. Now analysts and organizations alike are calling for the next evolution, reshaping the PMO into what many are calling a Strategic Value Office, measured by business impact and decision quality rather than delivery tracking alone. AI is accelerating that shift by automating the routine reporting work that used to consume most of a PMO's time, but automation alone does not create better decisions. It only creates faster reports.

Caran saw the real gap behind that shift long before it had a name. Across her own engagements, one pattern kept repeating: access to information was never really the constraint. Leaders rarely struggled to get information. What they lacked was shared understanding, and without it, they rarely recognized meaningful change early enough to act on it, no matter how quickly that information reached them. That observation became formal research. Caran interviewed PMO and strategy leaders across eight countries to understand why organizations so often recognize important change weeks after the signals first appear. The findings were peer reviewed and published in the August 2026 edition of the PM World Journal, becoming the foundation for her talk at this year's conference, "Stop Finding Out Too Late: Turning Salesforce Data into Real-Time Decisions." That research became DaytaBrain, an Initiative Operational Intelligence platform built for exactly the kind of decision quality the Strategic Value Office model demands. It connects directly into Salesforce and an organization's existing systems, continuously observing initiative signals, from status changes to shifting assumptions, long before they would otherwise reach a report. AI can surface information, but leaders are the ones who determine what actually matters, so DaytaBrain preserves the organizational context around every signal it finds. That context is what turns raw data into trusted understanding leadership can act on with confidence. Most AI is built to answer questions faster. DaytaBrain is built to help leaders make better decisions, surfacing what matters while there is still time to respond and leaving judgment exactly where it belongs, with the people accountable for the outcome. Caran is looking forward to being part of West Africa Dreamin' because she believes organizations don't become more intelligent by collecting more information. They become more intelligent by recognizing what matters sooner. As West Africa's Salesforce ecosystem grows and its own PMOs begin the same shift toward strategic value, she wants to bring Initiative Operational Intelligence into that conversation early, sharing what a decade of experience and original research revealed about closing the gap between wanting better decisions and actually making them. Recognition changes decisions. Decisions change organizations.
